What's Aesthetic Medicine?
Aesthetic Medicine is a discipline scientifically recognized as a unique field within Medicine, and its objective is to promote physical and mental health, through the art of ways of being human, both physical and psychological. Its purpose is the restoration, maintenance and promotion of aesthetics, beauty and health, which involves the use of medical practices and small interventions, such as local or outpatient anesthesia. Here are some examples of aesthetic medicine and its benefits:
BOTULINUM TOXIN
Botulinum toxin is a protein that temporarily relaxes the muscles where it it applied; it is commonly used over the forehead, crow's feet, eyebrows to decrease wrinkles, and over the jaw to treat bruxism.

It has become the most widely used non-surgical treatment worldwide for those with the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It is a non-painful aesthetic medicine treatment, that is highly effective at bringing major improvements for patients 25 or older.

Results can be seen 7 to 12 days after application, and last between 4 to 6 months.
PEELS
Peelings can be either a physical or chemical procedure. Both physical techniques, such as diamond tip dermabrasion, and chemical techniques, with specific skin formulations, seek to regenerate and promote the production of collagen and elastin in the skin for a better and more youthful appearance.

The peelings can be used in cases of:
• Facial dehydration
• Facial rejuvenation and revitalization

FILLER

JET PLASMA
The Jett plasma is a medical device that uses plasma energy to stimulate the formation of collagen and elastin, in order to achieve a fresher, healthier appearance, and provide adequate tension to the skin.

Some of its main uses are non-surgical facelift, wrinkle removal, non-surgical blepharoplasty (vs. droopy eyelids), removal of warts and fibroids, removal of scars, blemishes, telangiectasias, etc.
MESOTHERAPY
This treatment is based on the local application of microdoses of medicinal substances in a desired area by our specialist.
It offers a wide range of benefits in cases of photoaging due to sun damage, acne scars, localized fat accumulation, wrinkles, loss of hair, and general devitalization of the skin. This treatment is applied in weekly, fortnightly or monthly sessions.
SCLEROTHERAPY
It is based on the application of a drug in a microfoam presentation on the site to be treated. It is mainly used in aesthetic medicine in the treatment of varicose veins that occur in the legs. The notoriety of the venous path decreases from the first session. Besides of the aesthetic improvement, it is also useful in the slowing down and prevention of venous insuficiency. Frequent symptoms of this pathology included "tired legs", and pain in lower limbs as the day closes.
MICRONEEDLING
